Club members enjoyed several interesting programs/activities/field trips during this fiscal year. Highlights included:
Library arrangements were continued throughout the year
with over 12 arrangements placed on the piano. Members
used flowers from their gardens for summer arrangements and artificial arrangements to create seasonal displays for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Groundhog Day, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day to name just a few.
The Christmas Tree Committee created a lovely tree again this year with the theme of “Songs of the Season”.The creative
ornaments included music scrolls, notes, musical instruments and angels with harps and trumpets.
The Club continued it's work on the community gardens led
by the Civic Committee. Projects included are the train station’s three platform beds, raised triangle garden, and three blue containers (summer annuals and winter greens) near the building; and two containers (summer annuals and winter greens) at the Woodstock Public Library. Club Members provided maintenance of these gardens two times per month throughout the growing season.
